After the inauguration of Aqua Line or Noida-Greater Noida Metro, Blue Line Metro station from Noida City Centre to Electronic City is going to inaugurate soon. Earlier, it was expected that the opening would be done in 23rd or 25th February, however, things didn’t turn the way they should. So, it is anticipated that the top metro officials, will do a safety inspection of Blue Line Metro Extension on 4th March 2019.
The Blue Line Metro Extension is a 6.8-km long line which aims to Noida City Centre to Electronic City. There are six stations on this metro stretch, namely Sector 34, Sector 52, Sector 61, Sector 59, Sector 62 and Electronic City.
The Noida City Centre to Noida Sector 62 (Electronic City) metro line is an extension of Blue Line Metro which is already running between Dwarka Sector 21 and Noida City Centre. The commencement of Blue Line Metro Extension was scheduled in the month of September 2018 but got delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. The inauguration of Blue Line Metro Extension is likely to happen in March 2019.
