Here is the full stop to all the waiting as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is finally going to inaugurate Blue Line Metro Extension today itself. It is a further extension of the existing metro from Noida City Centre to Noida Electronic City.
Blue Line Metro Extension is a 6.6-km long fully elevated metro network that features six metro stations – Sector 34, Sector 52, Sector 61, Sector 59, Sector 62 and Noida Electronic City.
There is a big number of companies in Noida Sector 60, 62, 63,65, and 67, giving employment to thousands of people. In addition to this, it is a hub of residential societies. Hence, the commencement of Blue Line Metro Extension will prove to be a big bane for here.
The inauguration of this metro was earlier scheduled for September 2018. However, it had missed numerous deadlines in the past.

It will connect Noida with Noida Sector 62 which is one of the most popular spots for IT companies, office spaces and residential societies.
The Blue Line Metro Extension will connect with Aqua Line at Sector 52 Metro Station and will provide connectivity to Greater Noida.
The Blue Line Metro Extension is being constructed at an approximate cost of over ₹1879 crore.
