Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is pretty hopeful that the trails on the entire stretch of Greater Noida Metro or Aqua Line will begin in a month.
The Executive Director at NMRC, PD Upadhyay said, “two trains would be used to do the trial run up to Sector 83 metro station. In all, we will be able to cover 15 out of the total 22 metro stations.”
Noida-Greater Noida Metro is a 29.7-km metro corridor and will feature 21 metro stations between Noida Sector 71 and Greater Noida. After 25 July, Greater Noida Metro now has started trial on almost 23 km of metro track.
All these trials on Greater Noida Metro are conducted under observation of the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO).
Once the trials are completed on the entire stretch of Greater Noida Metro Line, NMRC will have to contact RDSO to get safety, speed and oscillation certificate.
As per the latest updates, Noida residents can expect the inauguration of full-fledged Greater Noida Metro Line in the month of September.
Sectors to be Benefited From Greater Noida Metro Line
However, entire Noida-NCR will get benefits after the inauguration of Greater Noida Metro Line, but obviously, there will be some sectors that will get direct benefits of it.
Sector 44, 45, 93, 94, 96, 97, 98, 105, 132, 144 and 155 are located next to or in proximity to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Hence, not just the residents residing here but also the real estate projects around these sectors will see a huge increase in demand.
